We are a Social Enterprise (Not-For-Profit) driven by one clear mission:

We build a community of everyday heroes – local youth & women, volunteers, students, professionals, and travellers united by care, courage, and action.

We protect forests and marine ecosystems through hands-on learning, real conservation work, and lived experience not just theory. We practise ancestors’ knowledge and preserve biodiversity so future generations can inherit life, not loss.

One Ocean Nature Conservation Centre

The One Ocean Nature Conservation Centre is located on Usukan Island just a 15-minute boat ride from Kuala Abai Beach, Kota Belud, Sabah - North Borneo.

Here, everything we do is centred on You and the Planet from conservation activity, courses and ranger training to immersive learning experiences that reconnect humans with the natural world.

At the heart of our mission, One Ocean Nature Conservation Centre exists to protect nature’s delicate balance while strengthening sustainable livelihoods for coastal communities.

We work where conservation truly matters on the frontlines of reefs, forests, and fishing communities translating environmental responsibility into measurable action. Our centre integrates coral restoration, marine protection, forest stewardship, and community empowerment into one living, working conservation model.

By supporting responsible fishing practices, nature-based education, and local capacity building, we help reduce pressure on marine ecosystems without sacrificing community resilience. Every program is designed to deliver real ecological impact, long-term sustainability, and shared value for People and Nature.

We are committed to protecting and regenerating coral reefs, coastal forests, and nearshore habitats that are critical to marine biodiversity, climate resilience, and community livelihoods.

Through strategic partnerships, science-based action, and community collaboration, we work to:
